My Jag E-type Restoration Project

Below are pictures of my '69 2+2 as it looked when I purchased it. She is in a restoration body shop to have both sills replaced as well as correct a lot of ills from whomever owned the car before me. Some of the body work was really, really poor.

Work is being done by Imagination Engineering in Orlando, Florida.   BTW, the little icon is a poor attempt to color one of the images below British Racing Green to see what she will ultimately look like.

A previous owner had started some work on the car. There is evidence of some brake work, a tune-up (it does runs, with the engine looking strong) as well as some really, really bad body work.

The 4.2 power plant. It does run and seems quite strong. I didn't look into the engine to much since it will get rebuilt. A PO had put new wires, distributor cap, plugs, etc. in. but it's obviously going to need the aluminum rebuffed and the headers redone among other things

Interior view. Obviously a little bit of work is needed here. As a Vegetarian, I will be out looking for a vinyl interior kit (I know leather would be better, but such is life when lifestyles and hobbies collide...)

Interior shot of drives side floor pan. Bad blowout where the battery sits on the other side. Although rest of the tub looks good, I can't wait for the interior to come out :-)
